The new Government Square is more convenient and accessible than ever.

Located on Fifth Street between Walnut and Main, Government Square serves as Metro's downtown transit hub.
With more than 15,000 people utilizing the square each and every workday, it's also Metro's busiest bus stop!

The new design features:

• Improved pedestrian safety
• Large, attractive shelters
• Easier transfers between routes
• New Fifth Street sidewalk
• Accessibility for people with disabilities
• Information booth with trip planning and schedule info
• State of the art security camera system
• FREE wireless internet service
• The ability to load and unload bikes on Metro buses
