METRO DISCOUNTS ON PASSES AND TOKENS EXTENDED TO APRIL
“10% off” to thank customers for riding during Fifth Street closing

CINCINNATI -- To thank customers for riding the bus during the Fifth Street closing due to Fountain Square construction, Metro is extending its special 10% discount to include April MetroCard monthly passes and tokens.

Discounted MetroCard monthly pass prices range from $36 to $81 (regularly $40-$90). April passes go on sale Wednesday, March 15 through Monday, April 10, 2006.

Tokens are discounted to $.90 (regularly $1), on sale through April 21, 2006.

Monthly passes are available at the BusStop sales office, Mercantile Building arcade (near Walgreens, 120 E. Fourth Street downtown), at community sales outlets, and by mail order. Tokens can be purchased at the BusStop sales office only; limit 40 per customer.
