METRO TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL MOMENT OF REMEMBRANCE
Bus headlights turned on at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day

CINCINNATI -- What is the real meaning of Memorial Day? The White House Commission on Remembrance wants us to spend just one minute on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29 at 3 p.m., to remember those who gave their lives serving our country.

Metro will participate in the National Moment of Remembrance by asking all bus drivers to turn on their headlights at 3 p.m.

Metro also distributed posters to all employee locations this week, to ask its 900 employees to take a moment at 3 p.m. Monday to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Metro is a non-profit public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 22 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
