NEW GOVERNMENT SQUARE, MORE METRO CHANGES ON AUG. 20.
CINCINNATI Sunday, Aug. 20 will be a big day for transit in Greater Cincinnati:
Metro’s new Government Square downtown transit hub will open
New low-floor buses with no steps to board will go into service
Metro will add a new Rt. 34X Western Hills Express to downtown during weekday rush hours (free rides on first day of service, Aug. 21)
More service will be added to three popular routes: Rt. 33 Glenway (Saturdays), Rt. 42X West Chester and Rt. 71X Kings Island
Metro’s regular Fall service changes will take effect reflecting the beginning of school
The following bus schedules will have time or bus stop changes. Many of the changes are due to new downtown routing or times related to Government Square’s reopening:
