TALL STACKS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

 CINCINNATI – Metro and TANK will offer the following special services to the Tall Stacks Music, Arts & Heritage Festival (Oct. 4-8, 2006):

Park & ride locations
Free parking and direct service to the Riverfront Transit Center from:

Ohio:              General Electric                  Metro, all days

Kentucky:     Turfway Race Track              TANK, all days

                        NKU                                Wed.-Fri:  limited hours*

                                                               Sat. – Sun:  all day

Days:             Wednesday, Oct. 4 through Sunday, Oct. 8

Hours:           6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. (last bus leaving Riverfront Transit Center)

                     (*NKU hours:  Wed. – Fri. from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., Sat. – Sun. from 6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.)

Frequency:   About every 15 minutes

Fare:               $7 round-trip, adults; $3 round-trip, children 12 and under (Cash fare, exact change only)

Advance purchase tickets are available as an add-on purchase when ordering cruise tickets on-line or via phone from Ticketmaster.  Stand alone round-trip park and ride tickets may also be purchased at the TANK/Metro Bus Stop in the Mercantile Center downtown.


Metro’s Tall Stacks downtown shuttle

Metro shuttle connecting downtown parking, hotels and Metro’s Government Square transit hub with Tall Stacks

Days:             Wednesday, Oct. 4-Sunday, Oct. 8

Hours:           6:30 a.m.- 1:00 a.m.

Frequency:   Every 10 minutes

Fare:               $1 each way

Route:            Continuous loop connecting parking on and near Eggleston, Central Parkway, Plum, 7th Street, Walnut, 5th Street, and Broadway with the main entrance to Tall Stacks on Pete Rose Way.  Serves Metro’s Government Square transit center with a bus stop on 5th Street at Main.

TANK’s Southbank Shuttle

TANK shuttle operates daily and connects the business and entertainment areas of Cincinnati, Covington and Newport.

Hours:           6:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Frequency:   Every 15 minutes

Fare:               $1 each way

Accessibility
Most, but not all, Metro buses will be lift-equipped to serve people with disabilities.  All TANK buses are lift-equipped.
