METRO EARNS TOP NATIONAL FINANCIAL HONORS… AGAIN
15 consecutive years of excellence in financial reporting
CINCINNATI -- Metro has received a prestigious national award for excellence in financial reporting for governmental entities. This is the 15th consecutive year that Metro has earned this distinction.
The "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting" from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) is awarded to local governments publishing a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report that meets the high standards of the GFOA.
Metro is a non-profit public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 22 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
