METRO DETOURS FOR "FLYING PIG” WEEKEND EVENTS
CINCINNATI - When pigs fly, Metro buses move!
The Flying Pig Marathon events will result in Metro bus detours on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6, including some significant detours east of downtown on Sunday. For specific areas affected, visit the Flying Pig website at www.flyingpigmarathon.com for the course map.
For complete bus detour information, customers can call Metro at (513) 621-4455. The Metro call center is open weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but is closed Sunday. Metro's website, www.go-metro.com, also features detour information.
Customers can also sign up for free Commuter Alerts and have detour information for their routes sent directly to their e-mail, cell phone or PDA.
Metro is a non-profit public service of Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 22 million rides per year in the Greater Cincinnati community.
