REMINDER!
OLD METRO FARE DEAL CARDS EXPIRE NOV. 1
CINCINNATI - Metro's Fare Deal program offers reduced fare for eligible customers. Effective Nov. 1, 2007, only new Fare Deal electronic cards like the one shown below will be accepted on Metro:

Beginning Nov. 1, old Fare Deal cards will not be valid. Beginning Oct. 15, monthly Fare Deal stickers will no longer be sold to customers with old Fare Deal cards.
Fare Deal has been recertifying customers since early 2007. Eligibility is based on federal guidelines, and customers must meet one of these conditions:
- Have a Medicare card (any age)
- Be age 65 years or older
- Have a qualifying disability that can be verified by a physician or licensed health care provider
Fare Deal is not an income-based program. A Medicaid card will not qualify an individual for eligibility.
Customers with questions should call the Fare Deal office at 632-7540.
Metro is a non-profit public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 22 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
