BUTLER COUNTY AND CLERMONT COUNTY ROUTES TO CONTINUE
$0.50 fare increase beginning March 4
CINCINNATI -- Faced with budgetary constraints, Metro's funding partners in Butler County and Clermont County have determined that a fare change is needed to help offset the increased costs of continuing Metro service in these counties.
At the request of the Butler and Clermont funding partners, Metro fares will increase $0.50 on routes serving these counties effective with Metro's Spring service change on Sunday, March 4.
Butler County's Rt. 42X West Chester Express and Rt. 62X Fairfield Express will be $2.75 one-way. Clermont County's Rt. 28/28X Milford, Rt. 75X Amelia and Rt. 82X Eastgate services will be $2.50 one-way. Rt. 52X Harrison Express fares will also increase to $2.50 to remain consistent with Clermont County fares.
Metro is a non-profit public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 22 million rides per year in Greater Cincinnati.
